Dreams goals aspirations this is what keeps us moving and leads us to success in our life. Goals make us think big and reach greater heights.
Well I followed a goal and so I am the person I am today.  I pursued the American Dream and my mentor was my mothers cousin who had migrated to the to the United States in the nineteen sixties. The photos, the stories that they shared made me spell bound. I remember the photos of Walt Disney World  that they shared with us. Lovely glossy photos with the dolphins performing feats watched by millions. America! The land of plenty! The beautiful sprawling homes and the life style of the Americans beckoned to me. So I decided to to write my GRE. I passed my GRE  and left for the United States. Now it is twenty five years since I came to the United States and I have loved every bit of it. It was tough starting out in a foreign country though America is a friendly nation of immigrants. Every step was a challenge. Though I was a strict vegetarian, I had to try non-vegetarian food just so that I would not stay hungry. Many a time I used to think of home when the cold winds of New York
bit my face.  My perseverance paid and after my education at a good School in the United States I landed a job in a good company. I am now living the American dream in a sprawling house with four cars. If I had not a goal in front of me I would not be the person I am today. So dream big as every dream precedes a goal.
